This is the website for the s/v Fraid Knot and her crew as
we sail to Hawaii for our first offshore passage. We cast off
on June 22, 2006 from Shilshole Marina in Seattle, WA and
sailed to the Hawaii Yacht Club in Honolulu, HI. After 10-12
days in Honolulu and Kauai, we change crew and sail back
to Seattle, leaving Hanalei Bay around August 7th for the 3
to 4 week return journey.

This website contains a little info about the crew and some
of the seemingly endless list of boat preparations needed
for a trip like this! Most importantly, when underway, we
will post our position and a few paragraphs of our ships’
log each day.
